You are left with a powdery orange blossom gardenia-esque (I LOVE gardenia, but it can border on being nauseating, and here with the powder and rose, it really is) super heady floral composition with an underlying electric sweetness, which really kicks in/electrifies the nauseating effect. Almost like you're not really wearing perfume but just came out of the shower instead. Ambrette is a musk but is a bit sour, so maybe that's the "rotten" flower smell some are describing.
